Arthritis is among the leading cause of disability; there are about hundred types of arthritis. It is connected with the pain of joints. There is swelling, redness, stiffness and heat in joints. It is a chronic disease, which can cause pain and inflammation that cannot be avoided as body ages. It can be predicted through blood tests and x-ray. The main causes of arthritis can be infection, improper diet, if the routine is not proper, not having proper combination of food like eating papaya with milk that are not good for the body, intake of curd during evenings. However it can be cured by a positive mental outlook, support of family and friends. A proper combination of medication, exercise, rest, weight management, nutritious diet can cure or make its level low so that pain is reduced.

Yoga for arthritis:

Yoga deals with the training of the mind to achieve oneness with the universe. Human body should be kept in proper form and for that mind should function well. Yoga shows that happiness can be obtained through non desire. Yoga helps to obtain a healthy mind by keeping the body healthy. For yoga diet must be regulated by avoiding oily, spicy and rich food. It recommends fresh fruits, vegetables, fresh cooked food and milk.

Arthritis can be cured through yoga:

If yoga is the part of anybody’s life that it is the best preventive measure of the arthritis. It enhances the body movement by providing flexibility and stability in joints. Yoga is a much effective way to get rid of arthritis as compared to other modern methods. It is a type of exercise that cures disease with gentle stretching and to follow the breath pattern that is good for health. To lead healthy and happy life yogic therapy should be used to cure the diseases.
Yoga is effective in treating arthritis only when the affected person is fully determined to get rid of the disease and stop the intake of unsuitable food and drinks. With regular practice of yoga asana cures arthritis within two months at moderate stage and in chronic stage four to five months to get back to normal health. The arthritic patient should follow three things:
1. Regular practice of the yoga asanas and pranayama that helps in curing arthritis.
2. Follow of proper diet structure.
3. Avoid following the practice of straining the nerves.
